Epic Beaker Application Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting and enhancing laboratory systems, the full-time salaried Epic Beaker Application Analyst will analyze business and technical requirements, implement application enhancements, and manage service requests in a flexible, primarily remote work environment with occasional onsite attendance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and deploy software and new application functionality while coordinating testing with development teams
• Analyze functional and technical requirements for enhancements, updating system designs and specifications as needed
• Diagnose system failures and ensure Windows server reliability and continuity, documenting resolutions for incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Three years of experience in IT analysis and technical design, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory environment
• One year of experience coding, testing, and implementing program changes
• Working knowledge of programming languages and IT infrastructure, including Windows server administration
• Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver technical documentation clearly
