Epic Bridges Consultant

Job Summary

To support a critical project, the full-time Epic Bridges Consultant will manage complex legacy data migrations and configure real-time interfaces, acting as the technical bridge between Epic, the Rhapsody Integration Engine, and downstream systems.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and transform data from legacy systems to ensure accurate migration to the Epic environment
• Build and maintain real-time Epic Bridges interfaces while utilizing the Rhapsody Integration Engine for message routing and monitoring
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide operational support during go-live, ensuring interface performance and troubleshooting errors

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Epic integrations and interface development
• Epic Bridges Certification is required
• Proficient experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine; experience with Cloverleaf or InterSystems is a plus
• Deep knowledge of HL7 (v2/v3), FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, and XML healthcare interoperability standards
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
