Epic Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Epic Business Intelligence Analyst Sr will develop reporting and analytic solutions, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and promote data literacy within healthcare environments.

Key responsibilities

• Designs, codes, configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents, and maintains self-service reporting assets and ETL processes
• Translates business program needs into technical solutions using various EHR reporting tools and presents these solutions to stakeholders
• Provides advanced analytics and technical guidance, while coaching less experienced Business Intelligence Developers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field such as business, computer science, or engineering
• 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence or data analytics
• Epic certifications in Cogito Fundamentals, Clarity Data Model, and Caboodle Data Model
• Strong experience in programming and reporting with knowledge of electronic health records and claims data
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
