Epic Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Epic Business Systems Analyst will manage Epic Hospital Billing and professional billing configurations, translate user requirements into technical specifications, and serve as a mentor to team members while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain quality and timelines for Epic billing configurations and resolve issues
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications and review with clients
• Participate in software upgrades and enhancements, ensuring proper documentation and issue escalation

Required qualifications:

• Active certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing claims or Contracts
• 5+ years of healthcare experience with direct client knowledge in billing and revenue cycle
• 5+ years of Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in relevant applications
• 5+ years of knowledge in revenue cycle metrics and process improvement techniques
• 3+ years of direct Epic experience and client interaction
