Epic Certified EHR Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Clinical Access Revenue System department, the full-time Associate EHR Systems Analyst - Epic Prelude/Referrals will develop expertise in the Epic system, analyze business operations, and collaborate with clinical and business representatives to ensure system configurations meet organizational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain Epic certification while adhering to standard operating procedures and testing standards
• Implement system changes and troubleshoot EHR components, ensuring timely communication with end users
• Assist with customer support and problem resolution, translating clinical communication into technical changes as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Recent college graduates or candidates with healthcare operational experience in patient access or revenue cycle are encouraged to apply
• Must obtain EPIC certification within 180 days of hire
• No prior work experience required; education may substitute for experience on a one-to-one basis
• Local candidates in Houston, Texas, or surrounding areas are preferred
