Job Summary
Supporting the Clinical Access Revenue System department, the full-time Associate EHR Systems Analyst - Epic Prelude/Referrals will develop expertise in the Epic system, analyze business operations, and collaborate with clinical and business representatives to ensure system configurations meet organizational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain Epic certification while adhering to standard operating procedures and testing standards
- Implement system changes and troubleshoot EHR components, ensuring timely communication with end users
- Assist with customer support and problem resolution, translating clinical communication into technical changes as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Recent college graduates or candidates with healthcare operational experience in patient access or revenue cycle are encouraged to apply
- Must obtain EPIC certification within 180 days of hire
- No prior work experience required; education may substitute for experience on a one-to-one basis
- Local candidates in Houston, Texas, or surrounding areas are preferred
