Epic Certified Hospital Billing Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking an Epic Certified Hospital Billing Consultant, the full-time remote position will design and optimize patient access workflows and digital engagement strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and advising on best practices for Epic's EHR and Cheers platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and design future-state workflows for patient access and digital engagement, identifying bottlenecks and compliance risks
• Advise IT teams on configuring Epic's patient access modules and complete in-system configuration/build as needed
• Develop project plans, manage stakeholder collaboration, and ensure workflows support accurate data capture for compliance and clean claims

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in a patient access leadership role
• Certification in Epic Cadence and Cheers, with strong preference for additional Epic patient access certifications
• In-depth understanding of patient scheduling, registration workflows, and front-end revenue cycle processes
• Strong project management skills and ability to bridge technical configuration with operational needs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
