Job Summary
To support managed care initiatives, the full-time Epic Certified Managed Care Analyst will build, maintain, and optimize managed care contracts within Epic's modules, ensuring accurate reimbursement calculations while working remotely with occasional onsite meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex managed care contracts in Epic to support accurate reimbursement calculations across various payer systems
- Produce qualitative and quantitative analyses to support revenue cycle and financial performance, identifying improvement opportunities
- Interpret managed care contract language to model payment terms and monitor contract performance for compliance and optimization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or related fields
- 5 years of experience with managed care contracts and reimbursement
- EPIC Certification in Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) expected within 180 days
- Proficiency in data analytic tools such as Epic Reporting, SAP BI, and Microsoft Excel
- Preferred: Master's Degree in relevant fields and additional certifications in coding or healthcare finance
