Epic Certified Software Engineer

Job Summary

Proficient in Epic application development, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer - Ambulatory will build and maintain Epic environments, lead design sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality healthcare delivery in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic environments while leading discovery calls and providing level of effort estimates
• Facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts to create and fulfill EHR use cases and document requirements
• Participate in project deliverables including use cases, business requirements, technical specifications, and gap analysis

Required qualifications

• Epic Ambulatory Certification and MyChart or Willow Certification
• Strong experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution
• Previous application configuration experience
• Experience in test planning, execution, and meeting project quality requirements
• Strong knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare IT industry
