Epic Claims Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance workflow and patient safety, the full-time Epic Claims Analyst will manage application software, conduct project management activities, and provide support for claims and remittance processes while being eligible for remote work in select states.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating systems and implementing enhancements to improve departmental workflow and cost containment
• Perform project management activities and provide education and support for assigned application software
• Consult and communicate with clinical staff and administrative users to ensure effective use of applications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Hospital Billing and certification
• Strong understanding of information systems and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Previous teaching/training and project management experience, including participation in clinical information systems implementation
• ITIL course completion within one year of hire
