Epic Claims Applications Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in eligible states, the full-time Epic Claims Applications Analyst will manage system evaluations, implement enhancements, and support application software while collaborating with clinical staff and administrative users to improve workflow and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct system evaluations and prepare analyses of alternatives for application improvements
• Assist in project management activities, including design, implementation, and user education for assigned software applications
• Collaborate extensively with clinical and administrative staff to optimize the use of applications and enhance departmental workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Hospital Billing, including certification
• Strong knowledge of information systems principles and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Previous experience in clinical information systems implementation or project management
• ITIL certification to be completed within one year of hire
