Epic Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

To support outpatient clinical teams, the full-time Ambulatory Clinical Informaticist will provide in-depth EHR support, assist with technology adoption, and enhance user experiences through training and collaboration with IT and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for EHR, troubleshooting issues and supporting clinicians in the ambulatory setting
• Participate in change management efforts and provide end-user support to improve technology adoption and clinical workflows
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize clinical systems and enhance patient care through effective use of technology

Required qualifications

• Epic Clinical Informatics Certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
• Associate degree or equivalent in IT or a health-related field
• Two years of clinical, clinical informatics, or IT experience
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement
• Passion for healthcare technology and commitment to advancing patient care
