Epic Cogito Administrator

Job Summary

To support the maintenance and enhancement of application systems, the full-time remote Application Administrator II will build, maintain, monitor, and audit on-premises application installations while participating in projects to upgrade systems and ensuring security standards are applied.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for non-production and production environments, troubleshooting issues and leading interactions with third-party vendors
• Design and implement technical enhancements, translating functional requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring timely delivery of application maintenance and upgrades
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and leading team meetings and retrospective events

Required qualifications

• High School diploma with 3 years of related experience; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience in higher education or healthcare preferred
• Proficiency with relational database technologies and experience supporting cloud and on-premises applications preferred
• Familiarity with multi-tier applications and project management from planning through implementation preferred
• Epic Certification in Cogito Administration (I and II) within 12 months of hire required
