Job Summary
Monitoring adherence to role-based access controls, the full-time Epic Compliance Analyst will perform internal audits, engage with third-party audit requests, and ensure data integrity and privacy while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures related to data migration and system access
- Serve as a liaison between Epic technical teams and Internal Audit, facilitating meetings to address findings and deficiencies
- Track and document compliance reports and audit requests, monitoring performance of clinical and technical teams
Required qualifications
- 3 years of experience in healthcare IT
- Demonstrated experience with EMR software and audit reporting tools like Data Courier and Analytics Catalog
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant industry certifications
- Experience supporting Epic environments is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous
