Epic Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a contract Epic Data Engineer, the candidate will develop reporting and analytic solutions, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and promote data literacy within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain self-service reporting assets
• Translate business program needs into technical solutions and present them to key stakeholders
• Provide advanced analytics to address systemic business problems and guide less experienced developers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as computer science or information systems
• 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics and reporting
• Epic certifications in Cogito Fundamentals, Clarity Data Model, and Caboodle Data Model
• Strong experience in programming and reporting tools, including EHR reporting tools and databases
• Ability to develop relationships with internal and external users for data integration
