Job Summary
To support healthcare organizations in optimizing population health and value-based care, the full-time Epic Database Administrator will design and implement database structures, conduct systems analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement database structures based on organizational requirements
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries and configurations
- Develop and maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity
Required qualifications
- 3 years of SQL database experience in a healthcare environment
- Hands-on experience with Epic systems
- Experience supporting multiple healthcare applications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and SQL Database Administration certification required
