Epic HB/PB Contracts Analyst

Job Summary

To support the client's Revenue Cycle organization, the remote Epic HB/PB Contracts Analyst will design, build, test, and maintain Expected Reimbursement Contracts within Epic Resolute HB and PB, ensuring accurate reimbursement modeling and payer contract configuration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Expected Reimbursement Contracts in Epic, translating executed payer contracts into accurate system configurations
• Perform contract modeling, variance analysis, and underpayment identification, validating expected vs. actual reimbursement
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure reimbursement accuracy and alignment with payer contracts and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of Epic Resolute HB and/or PB analyst experience, with at least 2+ years in building and maintaining Expected Reimbursement Contracts
• Demonstrated experience building fee schedules and contract components in Epic
• Strong understanding of hospital and professional reimbursement methodologies
• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts certification and/or Epic Resolute Professional Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts certification
