Epic HIM Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Epic HIM Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary support contact for the HIM application, addressing issues and coordinating resolutions
• Guide workflow design, system building, testing, and implement requested changes to the Epic software
• Maintain communication with Epic representatives and collaborate with end users to ensure system alignment with organizational needs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Required certification in Epic HIM Deficiency Tracking, Coding, Release of Information, and Identity
• Prior analyst experience with HIM systems and workflows
• Preferred knowledge of HIM workflows and procedures
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of relevant college education and experience
• Familiarity with transcription, scanning workflows, and confidentiality guidelines
