Epic HIM Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Process Consultant, Epic HIM.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve HIM processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize Epic system design for HIM modules
• Support compliance and documentation integrity through data analysis and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Health Information Management (HIM) leadership or consulting role
• Certification in Epic's suite of HIM applications (Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, and Coding)
• Strong understanding of medical records management and regulatory compliance
• Experience leading HIM projects in hospital or health system environments
• Ability to translate HIM needs into Epic configuration and workflow design
