Epic Inpatient Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the mission of the organization, the full-time Epic Inpatient Analyst will configure and optimize Inpatient Order Entry and Provider Documentation applications within the Epic EHR, serving as a key liaison between end-users and operational leaders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary support contact for end users, troubleshooting issues and guiding workflow design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, test, and implement changes to the Epic system
• Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and participate in project team meetings to ensure alignment with organizational needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical informatics, computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Epic certification in the respective application upon hire or within 9 months of employment
• Prior experience with inpatient order entry and knowledge of inpatient clinical operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with infection control workflows and regulatory reporting requirements is preferred
