Epic Inpatient Application Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting inpatient clinical operations, the full-time remote Epic Inpatient Application Analyst will serve as the primary contact for Epic Inpatient applications, collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to optimize system usage and improve patient care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinicians and end users to design, build, test, train, implement, and maintain Epic systems
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to capture business and technical requirements while assessing and improving workflow processes
• Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for resolution in a 24/7 production environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Two years of IT systems and/or operational experience with a Bachelor's degree; four years with an Associate's degree; or six years with a High School diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and processes
• Experience in system documentation, testing, and project management methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
