Epic Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the design and development of impactful training content, the remote contract Epic Instructional Designer will collaborate with stakeholders to create instructional materials and deliver measurable learning experiences in an Epic-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine instructional design materials for Epic-supported training programs
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify core problems and define clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines
• Develop web-based and eLearning content in alignment with adult learning principles and effective pedagogy

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' relevant Epic experience
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in instructional design and development of web-based and eLearning
• Experienced with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrated tools, including Epic Master train environment (MST) build experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in adult learning theory, motivation, and development
• Proven success in learning analytics to enhance learning experiences and measure their impact
