Job Summary

Supporting the educational needs of front desk, scheduling, and registration staff, the full-time Epic Instructional Designer I will design, develop, and deliver training materials and programs for users of Epic, working remotely and collaborating with technical analysts and operational leaders.

Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain training curriculums and eLearning modules based on workflow analysis and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Deliver training sessions and presentations, mentoring trainers on effective delivery and presentation skills
  • Manage project timelines and resources, communicating training plans and escalating issues as necessary
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of experience in adult education, preferably in healthcare, or equivalent experience in health care or secondary education
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and instructional writing for digital media
  • Familiarity with Epic (or other EHR) applications preferred
