Epic Interface Engineer
Job Summary
To support healthcare data exchange, the contracted Epic Interface Engineer will design, develop, and implement interfaces between Epic and third-party systems using Epic Bridges and Infor Cloverleaf while working remotely for a duration of 6+ months with potential for full-time placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, implement, and support interfaces between Epic and third-party systems
- Analyze business and technical requirements for new interfaces and system enhancements
- Troubleshoot interface failures and ensure timely resolution of issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience supporting healthcare interfaces in a hospital or healthcare IT environment
- Hands-on experience with Infor Cloverleaf interface engine
- Experience working with Epic Bridges and supporting Epic integrations
- Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12
