Epic Interface Integration Analyst
Job Summary
To support healthcare integration initiatives, the full-time Epic Interface Integration Analyst will design, implement, and maintain application interfaces and API-based integrations remotely, ensuring reliable data exchange between clinical systems and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of interface development, including design, build, testing, and implementation of healthcare integrations using FHIR APIs and RESTful web services
- Monitor production interfaces and resolve integration issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Develop and maintain interface documentation, testing plans, and technical specifications to support ongoing improvements and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Epic Bridges Certification required and must be maintained
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT, systems integration, or interoperability-related roles, particularly in healthcare
- Hands-on experience with FHIR implementations and RESTful APIs, as well as troubleshooting healthcare interoperability solutions
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2 and FHIR
