Epic MyChart Billing Representative

Job Summary

To support patient billing inquiries, the full-time Epic MyChart Billing Representative will manage and respond to patient billing questions through Epic MyChart while working remotely on a temporary basis for six months, adhering to PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to patient billing inquiries through Epic MyChart, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Investigate and resolve billing concerns by reviewing accounts and coordinating with internal departments as necessary
• Document patient interactions and billing resolutions accurately within the electronic health record and billing systems

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Epic EHR and MyChart functionalities
• Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle management
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance regulations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of inquiries
