Epic Orders Applications Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance patient safety and departmental workflow, the full-time Epic Orders Applications Analyst will manage system evaluations, implement enhancements, and provide support for application software, with eligibility for remote work in select states.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project management activities and perform analysis, design, implementation, and education for assigned application software
• Consult and communicate extensively with clinical and administrative staff to improve workflow and processes
• Research and seek solutions to problems while contributing to the evaluation of systems and preparing analysis of alternatives

Required qualifications

• Epic Orders experience and certification
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with clinical assessment, planning, and project management, including participation in a clinical information systems implementation
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hospital operations
• ITIL course completion within one year of hire
