Epic Orders Applications Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance workflow and patient safety, the full-time salaried Epic Orders Applications Analyst will evaluate systems, implement enhancements, and provide support for assigned application software while working remotely from eligible states.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project management activities and assist in system evaluations and enhancements
• Collaborate with clinical staff and administrative users to improve departmental workflows and processes
• Research solutions to problems and provide education and support for application software usage

Required qualifications

• Epic Orders experience and certification
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience in clinical assessment, planning, and project management, including participation in a clinical information systems implementation
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
