Epic Patient Access Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Epic Patient Access Analyst specializing in Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) for a remote, contract position, the candidate will manage the optimization of patient access, scheduling, registration, and insurance eligibility workflows in a healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Real-Time Eligibility functionality
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance registration accuracy and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot eligibility transaction errors and support front-end revenue cycle workflows involving patient registration and insurance verification

Required Qualifications

• Active Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Real-Time Eligibility certifications
• Hands-on experience supporting and configuring Epic Real-Time Eligibility
• Prior experience leading or supporting Epic optimization initiatives
• Strong understanding of patient access, scheduling, registration, and insurance eligibility workflows
• Experience developing and executing testing protocols for Epic applications
