Epic Revenue Cycle Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Senior Consultant will support a commercial health revenue cycle technology initiative by implementing, optimizing, and providing application support for Epic revenue cycle workflows, including billing and claims processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, stabilization, and application support workstreams
• Analyzing current-state workflows and assisting in the design, testing, and support of future-state solutions
• Collaborating with operational users, Epic application teams, and revenue cycle stakeholders to document findings and issue resolutions

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Epic revenue cycle applications and workflows
• Experience in areas such as hospital billing, claims and remittance, and revenue integrity
• Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and their impact on billing and reimbursement
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with operational and technical stakeholders in a remote environment
