Epic Revenue Cycle Informaticist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle team, the full-time Revenue Cycle Informaticist will provide training and support for end users on the Epic electronic health record's registration, scheduling, and billing functionalities, while working in a hybrid environment for applicants residing in Dubuque, IA or Madison, WI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on EHR applications for end users, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Assess EHR competency levels and recommend actions to enhance user performance and efficiency
• Provide technical support and collaborate with operational departments to resolve EHR-related issues

Required qualifications

• High school or vocational school graduate
• Two years of reimbursement/billing and/or clerical experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with electronic health record functionality
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel
• Must achieve Epic credentialed trainer status within 4 to 6 months of hire
