Job Summary
To support a broad portfolio of Epic clinical applications, the full-time Epic System Architect will manage system application design and development, ensuring integration with existing technologies while primarily working remotely with occasional travel to facilities for project work and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Develops design solutions that integrate with existing products and facilitate future enhancements
- Communicates with customers, project teams, and vendors to analyze and design application workflows
- Serves as a consultant and subject matter expert in diagnosing and resolving application software failures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 7 years of relevant work experience in designing, developing, or supporting applications
- Epic certification or proficiency in any module(s) upon hire; specific module(s) required within 6 months
- Current Epic certifications in relevant modules, including Clinical and/or Business operations, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of SharePoint
