Epidemiologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Epidemiologist to join a pharmaceutical team in a fully remote contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct epidemiologic research to enhance disease understanding and inform drug development
• Support clinical trial and medication safety initiatives by identifying target populations and conducting meta-analyses
• Lead post-marketing and real-world evidence studies, including signal detection and benefit-risk evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
• 3 years of experience as an Epidemiologist in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or government
• Strong background applying epidemiologic methods to support drug development
• Preferred: PhD in Epidemiology or related discipline
• Preferred: Experience working with real-world data or large healthcare databases
