Epidemiologist

Job Summary

Providing expert consulting services, the full-time Epidemiologist will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices, analyze clinical trial data, and support regulatory decision-making while working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor post-market performance of medical devices to detect safety signals and assess risks
• Collaborate with biostatisticians to review clinical trial protocols and real-world data
• Utilize epidemiological methods to guide policy frameworks for medical device regulation

Required qualifications

• Doctorate in Epidemiology, Applied Statistics, Public Health, or a related field
• Several years of experience in coordinating or reviewing epidemiologic studies
• Understanding of medical device regulations is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred
• 5-7 years of applicable experience, with advanced degrees substituting for work experience
