Job Summary
Providing expert consulting services, the full-time Epidemiologist will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices, analyze clinical trial data, and support regulatory decision-making while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor post-market performance of medical devices to detect safety signals and assess risks
- Collaborate with biostatisticians to review clinical trial protocols and real-world data
- Utilize epidemiological methods to guide policy frameworks for medical device regulation
Required qualifications
- Doctorate in Epidemiology, Applied Statistics, Public Health, or a related field
- Several years of experience in coordinating or reviewing epidemiologic studies
- Understanding of medical device regulations is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred
- 5-7 years of applicable experience, with advanced degrees substituting for work experience
