Epidemiologist Research Associate II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Associate II: Epidemiologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex epidemiologic and surveillance activities focused on Chronic Disease, Maternal and Child Health, and Injury
• Create, implement, and sustain public health surveillance systems for the Maine CDC
• Lead and collaborate on epidemiologic studies and train staff in data visualization and analytic skills

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Epidemiology or related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated mastery of advanced principles of epidemiology and public health
• Experience in developing and implementing public health surveillance systems
• Expertise in analyzing complex sample survey datasets, preferably with SAS or R
• Proven ability to build partnerships and collaborate with various stakeholders
