Epidemiologist Statistical Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Epidemiologist Statistical Programmer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce real-time estimates for influenza vaccination coverage in the United States
- Conduct statistical analysis of data from the National Immunization Survey (NIS) for peer-reviewed publications
- Use SAS to summarize key findings, conduct ad hoc analyses, and prepare research papers or reports
Required Qualifications:
- BS with 2 years related experience or MS in Public Health, Informatics, Statistics, Math, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience as an epidemiologist using SAS, including knowledge of SAS macro programming
- Experience with large public health datasets, longitudinal data analysis, and survey methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Prior experience with the analysis of influenza and public health epidemiologic data is desired
