Epidemiology Associate Director

Job Summary

Providing scientific leadership in disease epidemiology, the full-time remote Epidemiology Associate Director will manage epidemiology programs, generate actionable real-world evidence, and lead complex studies to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for the epidemiology program for at least one asset or disease area, including developing a Global Epidemiology Plan and leading cross-functional teams
• Provide expert epidemiological insights to asset matrix teams and represent the organization in scientific interactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify new vendors and data sources to deliver innovative epidemiology solutions and plan the scientific dissemination of epidemiology data

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Epidemiology or other Quantitative Public Health discipline
• 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience in an academic or government setting
• Demonstrated ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders
• Experience operating in a matrix environment with independent delivery of complex epidemiological studies
• Knowledge of external regulatory and scientific landscape around real-world evidence
