Epidemiology Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Epidemiology Director to drive the development and delivery of external control arms and data insights for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, interpret, report, and publish results of observational research studies
• Support the development of the company's data platform and harmonize real-world data with clinical trial standards
• Collaborate with internal partners to develop strategic partnerships and data requirements for external controls methodology

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 10+ years of experience with a Master's Degree or 5+ years with a PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field
• Oncology experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of real-world data study design and causal inference
• Experience with data analysis from observational study designs and clinical data
• Proficient in R, Python, SQL, or similar technical tools
