Epidemiology Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Epidemiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the epidemiology program for at least one asset or disease area, including developing a Global Epidemiology Plan
• Liaising with stakeholders to bridge evidence gaps and translate them into epidemiology program strategy
• Lead and oversee complex epidemiological studies and manage external collaborations

Required Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (PhD, ScD, or DrPH) in epidemiology or a relevant discipline
• 5+ years of experience in epidemiology
• Experience in drug and clinical development processes
• Experience with real-world databases such as claims and electronic health records
• Experience operating in a matrix environment with complex epidemiological studies
