Equipment Finance Credit Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Equipment Finance Credit Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite loan and lease credit applications and record decisions accurately
• Prepare credit write-ups for transactions and review financial statements
• Communicate with Sales regarding credit decisions and transaction structures

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' related experience, or 7 years' combined higher education and/or work experience
• Good working knowledge of credit and underwriting principles and procedures
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Formal credit training and leasing industry experience preferred
• Complete knowledge of business credit policies and procedures
