Job Summary

An educational institution is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for an online position in the College of Education.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and facilitate discussions in an online format, focusing on creating and managing safe and engaging learning environments
  • Equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful leaders in their chosen profession
  • Build collaborative relationships with families, colleagues, and community agencies to promote the growth and well-being of children

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Educational Psychology, Psychology, or related field, along with valid state teacher certification
  • Minimum: Master's in Education or related field, valid state teacher certification, and exceptional expertise in the field
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher or in a related educational role
  • At least six graduate level credit hours related to educational philosophy, social issues in education, epistemology, educational psychology, human development, teacher leadership, personal leadership, or equivalent content
  • At least six graduate level credit hours in special education foundations and framework or educating students with diverse needs
