Equity and Environmental Justice Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Equity, Environmental Justice, and Outreach Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine internal materials to create a policy-guiding toolkit
• Collaborate with the communications team to update processes and incorporate DEIJ-informed language
• Provide resources and materials to support outreach and engagement in climate advocacy

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of nonprofit organizational structures and missions
• Familiarity with environmental and climate goals/policies in the northeast U.S
• History of success in implementing resource and process improvements
• Experience in effective facilitation and training
• Previous experience in energy and environmental fields with a focus on equity and justice
