Job Summary
Providing technical regulatory and compliance services, the remote ERISA Attorney will advise on retirement and employee benefit plans, review plan documents, and prepare governmental filings while collaborating with other consultants.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide plan design advice and recommendations for retirement and employee benefit plans
- Review and draft plan documents, amendments, and prepare governmental filings
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, nondiscrimination testing, and fiduciary training
Required qualifications:
- Law degree and active membership in good standing of a state bar
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with legal research and document review related to ERISA
- Extensive knowledge of DOL, IRS, FINRA, and SEC regulations
- Ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and prospects
- Experience supervising legal support staff as necessary
