ERISA Compliance Attorney

Job Summary

To support a national ERISA Compliance Consulting practice, the full-time remote ERISA Compliance Attorney will provide compliance support on employee health and welfare benefits, conduct legal research, and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance and technical support regarding ERISA, ACA, and other relevant laws affecting employee welfare benefit plans
• Research and prepare compliance-related articles, alerts, and internal training documents
• Prepare and present webcasts and live presentations on ERISA-related topics

Required qualifications

• Law degree with strong research and writing skills
• Minimum 4 years of law firm experience specializing in employee health and welfare benefits or 8 years in the ERISA field with a focus on compliance
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts in a practical manner
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products or similar applications
