ERISA Licensed Counsel

Job Summary

To support the in-house legal team, an ERISA Licensed Counsel with over 5 years of experience will provide legal guidance on retirement plan administration and compliance matters while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a legal resource for ERISA and retirement plan administration, ensuring compliance with operational and fiduciary requirements
• Interpret and apply regulatory guidance from relevant agencies affecting retirement plans
• Draft and negotiate agreements with clients and partners, aligning services and responsibilities with business objectives

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Minimum of five years of legal experience in retirement plans or fiduciary matters
• Working knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code provisions applicable to retirement plans
• Experience with retirement plan recordkeepers or third-party administrators is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
