ERISA Litigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ERISA litigator with a focus on efficient, effective legal work in the field of employee benefits and defending ERISA and non-ERISA life, health, disability, and fiduciary claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend complicated benefits litigation matters, including class actions and single-plaintiff lawsuits
• Brief cutting-edge legal issues at both trial and appellate court levels
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, participate in mediation, trial, and appeals

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Specific experience with employee benefits and defending ERISA and non-ERISA life, health, disability, and fiduciary claims preferred but not required
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
