E&S Package Underwriter
Job Summary
To support the underwriting of unique human and social service accounts, the remote E&S Package Underwriter will evaluate submissions, price coverage, and manage relationships with producer partners while ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new non-standard business submissions for appetite acceptability and profitability
- Rate, quote, and bind coverage on new and renewal business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external producer partners
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3-5+ years of Property & Casualty E&S underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance rating, forms, and coverages
- Proven track record of building strong business relationships with agents and insureds
- Strong negotiation skills
- Industry designations (CPCU, AU) are helpful
