E&S Specialty Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the growth of the Excess & Surplus team, the full-time salaried E&S Specialty Underwriter will evaluate risks, determine coverage terms, and manage client relationships in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite complex insurance risks for specialty markets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective policy implementation and service delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in Excess & Surplus lines
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex risk factors
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
