ESA Section 7 Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ESA Section 7 Senior Analyst to support the National Marine Fisheries Service in conducting ESA section 7 consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses and research for ESA section 7 consultations
• Review action agency documents and provide technical assistance to Federal agencies
• Analyze scientific literature and assess impacts on protected species, developing mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field and 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in environmental regulations, biological sciences, or ecological risk assessment
• Preferred experience in Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic fisheries and ecosystems
• Documented experience in scientific project management
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
