Escrow Officer - Michigan

Job Summary

To support the settlement process, the fully remote Escrow Officer - Michigan will manage pre-closing activities, coordinate with lenders, conduct closings, and prepare and record necessary documents while ensuring compliance with regulatory issues.

Key responsibilities

• Completes real estate escrow transactions by preparing, reviewing, and disbursing closing documents and funds
• Determines escrow requirements and resolves title defects while maintaining accurate records
• Prepares and finalizes transaction documents, including Closing Disclosure Forms, and ensures proper closing procedures are followed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an Escrow Officer
• Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the title industry
• Experience using Qualia preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
