ESL Certified Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support the education of future teachers, the part-time ESL Certified Adjunct Faculty will provide online instruction for the course "Methods of Structured English Immersion for Elementary Education," facilitating discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing candidates for success in their teaching careers.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes

Required qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in TESOL, Second Language Acquisition, Multicultural Education, Bilingual Education, Linguistics, or related field
• Minimum: Master's degree in one of these fields and 2 areas of exceptional expertise
• Valid state teacher certification in early childhood with endorsement in ESL or bilingual education
• Five years of experience teaching English Learners
